Key Features

Speed Up
Time to Deployment

OmniPOD is a turnkey solution and platform on demand that enables efficient 5G network deployment. Its end-to-end in-house design from HW to SW gives you a one-stop shopping experience, speeding up your 5G monetization.

Pave the Way for
Full 5G Applications

OmniPOD adopts the Standalone (SA) mode to unlock the full benefits of 5G, namely eMBB, uRLLC, and mMTC, paving the way for a range of future 5G applications such as precise positioning, network slicing, multi-tenancy, and higher network security.

Run with Guaranteed
Compatibility

OmniPOD underwent rigorous pre-validation to ensure its compliance with 3GPP and ORAN standards, as well as being certificated with TIP badges. It also supports licensed bands from n78, n79 to n48 to deliver trusted adaptability, interoperability and stability for customers around the world.

Enjoy scalability with
Flexible Deployment

OmniPOD allows you to extend your site coverage from single-site to multi-site with local UPF deployment. You can also widen your radio coverage with the expandable radio network at a single cell, from indoor to outdoor deployment.

Control with
Manageability

OmniPOD is equipped with a user-friendly network management system that allows you to visualize and config network functions with a single pane of glass, optimizing your network resource allocation, from QoS profile settings, uplink/downlink slot formats, to cell handover configuration.

Get Protected with
Certified Security

OmniPOD enterprise 5G passed 3GPP SCAS testing and ISO 17025 lab validation, delivering certified security that protects your data from leakages and cyberattacks.

What Enterprise 5G Solutions do QCT offer?
QCT’s Enterprise 5G Solution portfolio, OmniPOD, comprises 5G Core (OmniCore), 5G RAN (OmniRAN), and OAM (OmniView), which together form an “End-to-End TURNKEY” solution.
What 5G use cases and applications do QCT support?
QCT has deep expertise in 5G infrastructure and cloud data center. When it comes to use case and application planning, we work behind the scenes and let our partners take the lead.
Why should enterprises choose Enterprise 5G solutions over Wi-Fi and Public 5G networks?
With Enterprise 5G solutions, enterprises can customize a dedicated 5G network that delivers unparalleled reliability, cybersecurity, and data privacy control.
Can I deploy one 5G core network to support multiple 5G RAN sites?
Yes, OmniPOD supports cross-site deployment.
How do I make sure no interference would occur among multiple RRUs?
Prior to each deployment, QCT will turn to our System Integrator partner to perform a wireless site survey to ensure no interference will arise from RRU overlapping.
Do all UE types connect to OmniPOD?
Currently, only UE types that support n79 and n78 with the SA mode can take advantage of OmniPOD.
What types of cell do QCT provide?
QCT provides the “Pico Cell” with 250mW RF output power per channel.
Does OmniRAN support the handover function?
QCT has embedded a GPS module in OmniRAN to support the handover function with 1588v2 time-sync. In addition, QCT’s System Integrator partner will install GPS antenna on FHGW during on-site deployment to realize the handover function.
Does OmniCore deliver high availability (HA) and high reliability?
Yes, QCT adopts an HA mechanism in its OmniCore by offering active and standby nodes for computing and networking. When a fault occurs, the active node will switch over to the standby node and the PDU session would be failsafe.
How can I import SIM data into OmniCore?
You can import SIM data through Configuration Management, a function of OmniView.
