QCT has been a part of building two of the TOP500 supercomputers in the world. In collaboration with Taiwan’s National Center for High-performance Computing, the QuantaGrid-powered Taiwania 2 ranked #20 on TOP500 and #10 on Green 500 when it debuted in 2019. Now, its successor, Taiwania 3, also listed among the TOP500 with the petabyte-level, general-purpose computing power of the largest CPU in Taiwan to help the island combat critical challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
